On 2 December, Professor Elda Brogi took part in a public hearing organised by the Committee on Culture and Education at the European Parliament.  Professor Brogi presented the preliminary results of a CMPF study on the implementation of the European Media Freedom Act (EMFA) across Member States.

We congratulate David Jamnig BSc., who works as a study assistant in our Software Engineering Research Group, on receiving the Best Performer Award 2024/2025 and a Teaching Award in the category “Best Tutorium”.

Among its members is Andrej Zwitter, currently Professor of Political Theory and Governance at the University of Groningen. In February 2026, he will move to the University of Klagenfurt, where he will hold the Chair of Human Sciences and Digitalisation and head the current Digital Age Research Center.

I met James Gorgen, a public functionary at the Brazilian Ministry of Development and Industry, over an online call I did from Rio de Janeiro while he was connecting from Argentina where he currently lives.
