Avrupa İnsan Hakları mahkemesi bugün, Vikipedi’ye erişim engelinin kaldırılması için Wikimedia Vakfı’nın 2019 tarihli dilekçesini reddettiğini duyurdu. Dava, Türk hükûmeti tarafından Vikipedi’ye erişimin Ocak 2020’de tekrar sağlanmış olması ve engelin bir insan hakları ihlali olduğunun Türk Anayasa Mahkemesi’nin Aralık 2019 tarihli kararında zaten belirlenmiş olması nedeniyle reddedildi. Mahkeme, Türk Anayasa Mahkemesi’nin artık çevrimiçi ifade özgürlüğü ihlalleri ile ilgili gelecekteki sorunları etkin biçimde ele alabileceğine inanmaktadır.

Bakterien geht es da nicht anders: Auch sie müssen priorisieren, wenn sie mit ihrem Abwehrsystem CRISPR-Cas gegen Viren vorgehen. Wie diese Prioritätensetzung funktioniert, war jedoch lange unklar. Erstmals beschreibt ein Forschungsteam im Fachmagazin Nature Microbiology nun einen Mechanismus, welcher der bakteriellen Priorisierung zugrundeliegt.

Wer über einen langen Zeitraum im Übermaß Zucker und andere Kohlenhydrate zu sich nimmt, trägt ein erhöhtes Risiko, eine Autoimmunkrankheit zu entwickeln. Bei den Betroffenen greift das Immunsystem das körpereigene Gewebe oder ein Organ an; die Folge sind beispielsweise chronisch entzündliche Darmerkrankungen wie Morbus Crohn und Colitis ulcerosa, Typ-1-Diabetes sowie die chronische Entzündung der Schilddrüse.

Namhafte Expertinnen und Experten aus Journalismus, Medienrecht, Medienpolitik, Medienaufsicht und Kommunikationswissenschaft diskutieren Fragen zur Zukunft journalistischer Berichterstattung unter dem Eindruck des Klimawandels.

Unter dem Titel „Digital, divers, dynamisch. Perspektiven der Parteiendemokratie.“ wurde ein Aufsatz mit Christoph Bieber und Isabelle Borucki aus der CAIS Programmkommission veröffentlicht.
