Incubated 12 years ago, the Global Network of Internet and Society Research Centers (NoC) has connected nearly 130 centers worldwide, fostering interdisciplinary research and engagement at the intersection of technology and society.

This year, the 2024 NoC Annual Meeting was held in partnership with the Digital Asia Hub Thailand (DAH.th) in Bangkok, from October 17-18, under the theme ‘The World at a Digital Crossroads: Navigating Uncertainty, Seizing Opportunity.’

Für die Regulation der Stomata sind Anionenkanäle vom SLAC/SLAH-Typ in den Schließzellen von zentraler Bedeutung. Das hat die Gruppe von Professor Rainer Hedrich, Biophysiker an der Julius-Maximilians-Universität (JMU) Würzburg, gezeigt.

Móo Yáng Xiáoé Boehm-Keppel, Barbara Kaltenbacher and Christian Pötzsche presented our mathematics degree program at the large careers and education fair, BeSt for short, in the exhibition hall in Klagenfurt.

Visitors were particularly fascinated by the double pendulum, but there was also a lot of information about the variety of mathematical applications, the different professional fields and what is actually so different about mathematics at university than at school.
We hope to see many of those we were able to advise in the lecture hall at AAU soon!
