Politically dominant strategies in the fields of agriculture and bioeconomy - even those which take Sustainable Development Goals seriously – stick to what might be called a ‘Productivity Paradigm’: increasing productivity is considered to be necessary to alleviate the rising biomass demand and the resulting competition on land use. However, a lot of visions of agriculture and bioeconomy endorsed by politically subdominant groups both in the Global North and the Global South implicitly question a main pillar of the politically dominant positions: the necessity of productivity increase.

Muchas personas sufren de enfermedades periodontales como la gingivitis a lo largo de su vida, producto de una mala higiene bucal. Aunque la mayoría puede pensar que un mal aliento o sangrado al lavarse los dientes pueden ser todas las consecuencias de aquello, diversas investigaciones han demostrado la existencia de una relación entre este tipo de afecciones y enfermedades crónicas como las enfermedades cardiovasculares.

Tecnología de diagnóstico y tratamiento de esta enfermedad detecta y contrarresta el desarrollo de las placas amiloides, proteínas secretadas por el cerebro que se asocian al surgimiento del Alzheimer y otras enfermedades neurodegenerativas.
