My name is Gustavo Babo, I’m from Brazil and I’m a Law and Political Science student. One of my biggest interests is to understand the best way to create national and international policies related to the Internet and other technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and Blockchain. Agrarian Trust staff had the pleasure of meeting with farmers, landowners, and organizers at in late October. We learned a lot from our colleagues in the Hudson Valley and reflected on the economic and social aspects of our beginning agrarian commons work. Keep the pipes flowing: The Indian government’s Department of Telecommunications has told state governments they should avoid Internet shutdowns in situations not involving an emergency or public safety, Business Insider India reports. There were about 130 Internet shutdowns in the country in 2018, up from 79 the year before.

The Internet Society continued its engagement with Middle East networking community by participating in the e-AGE18 Conference, where we took the opportunity to promote the importance of DNS Security and Privacy. El pasado miércoles 14 de noviembre la Comisión Nacional de Acreditación comunicó su decisión unánime de acreditar a la Casa de Bello por el máximo período contemplado en la Ley. El positivo resultado, que entrega un sello de excelencia a los distintos ámbitos de su quehacer como plantel universitario, renueva la acreditación institucional hasta el 22 de diciembre de 2025.

Gratuidad, becas de arancel y mantención, créditos, y el recientemente aprobado arancel ajustado, son algunas de las alternativas de financiamiento disponibles. Además, quienes se matriculen en la U. de Chile pueden optar a las distintas alternativas gestionadas exclusivamente por esta Casa de Estudios.El Ministerio de Educación (MINEDUC) y la Universidad de Chile ponen a disposición una serie de beneficios para apoyar el financiamiento del arancel, y ofrecer alternativas de mantención para el 2019.

La Casa de Bello nuevamente se consolidó como la primera institución de educación superior de Chile y una de las más importantes a nivel latinoamericano en las mediciones objetivas de mayor reconocimiento.
