Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) are a vital element of Internet infrastructure. They can be found at physical and neutral locations where different IP networks meet to exchange local traffic via a switch. Implementing an IXP within a country helps bring faster, more affordable, and better performing Internet to people.

Through a new program on Platform Futures, the Digital Asia Hub aims to convene a network of academics and experts studying multiple aspects of platforms, and to create a space for dialogue on opportunities, challenges, and governance best practices in the APAC context.

Neuroblastome sind bösartige solide Tumoren, die vor allem im frühen Kindesalter auftreten. Sie entstehen aus entarteten unreifen Zellen des sympathischen Nervensystems.
Ein Anhaltspunkt, mit dem sich die Bösartigkeit des Tumors abschätzen lässt, ist das MYCN-Onkogen. Hochrisikopatienten des Neuroblastoms haben oft eine Amplifikation von MYCN, also sehr hohe Mengen dieses Proteins, was das unkontrollierte Tumorwachstum antreibt. Im Umkehrschluss könnte die Hemmung von MYCN oder seiner Funktion eine aussichtsreiche Therapiechance sein.

"Este Verano, descansemos con cuidado", es el nombre de la iniciativa comunicacional del plantel, a partir de la cual distintos especialistas entregan consejos que buscan promover conductas sanas y de cuidado de la salud mental, independiente de si las personas saldrán o no de sus hogares. Este martes, la campaña fue presentada por el Rector de la U. de Chile, Ennio Vivaldi, en la Mesa de Salud Mental, así como a las y los integrantes del programa "Saludablemente".
