The image was shared around the world. Two little girls hunched over their laptops on a concrete sidewalk, accessing the free WiFi at a fast-food restaurant in order to complete their schoolwork. It was a bleak reminder of the stark digital divide in the United States, where millions are excluded from the benefits of affordable, reliable broadband service.

El organismo dependiente de la Universidad de Chile identificó un aumento en el número de eventos respecto a 2019 y 2018. En total, 667 tuvieron una magnitud superior o igual a 4.0, -casi 2 por día en promedio-, mientras que los de magnitud mayor o igual a 6.0 ocurrieron en el segundo semestre.

FAKESPOTTING is an EU funded project within the ERASMUS K2 program. The project focuses on the development of digital information literacy via a set of integrated abilities encompassing the reflective discovery and assessment of information, the understanding of information, and the critical evaluation of sources.

Et en cette période « tout feu tout flamme », une tendance est de voir des réactions spontanées prendre corps pour justement s’exonérer des canaux institutionnels habituels. En marge de ces institutions se trouvent donc des phénomènes plus spontanés, dont il importe d’évaluer la pertinence, les effets, les avantages et inconvénients. C’est la raison d’être la conférence Justice + vide institutionnel.
