No dia 27 de julho de 2022, LAPIN, Artigo 19 e InternetLab lançaram do relatório “Cidades Inteligentes e Dados Pessoais: Recomendações e Boas Práticas”.

O relatório analisou a compra e o uso de tecnologias que processem dados pessoais por poderes municipais nas categorias (i) conectividade, (ii) mobilidade urbana, (iii) educação e (iv) segurança pública. A partir da análise, foram identificados diversos desafios na contratação e pontos de atenção em relação a possíveis violações de direitos, especialmente a grupos vulneráveis.
