A platform is telling researchers how to study its neutrality and defining what and where researchers should look to evaluate it. If it was Google or Facebook we might be shocked. But it’s from Wikipedia, and so this move will undoubtedly go unnoticed by most. On Thursday this week, the Wikimedia Foundation’s research team sent a note to the Wikimedia research mailing list asking for feedback on their “Guidance for NPOV Research on Wikipedia” [1].

Wer in Würzburg Zahnmedizin studiert, benötigt im Schnitt 300 Übungszähne, um die verschiedenen Techniken und Behandlungen zu üben und später Patientinnen und Patienten sicher, effizient und erfolgreich behandeln zu können.  

During the four-week summer internship, students gain insight into academic and scientific life at the Institute of Mathematics. In targeted input phases, combined with self-study phases and group work, they explore accessible mathematical topics.

In addition, they gain initial experience with programming and learn basic skills in Python and LaTeX. They design presentation formats based on what they have learned for their peers, which are used in school lectures and workshops.

The Internet Society’s latest Country Report on Lebanon reveals a paradox at the core of the country’s internet ecosystem. Although 90% of the population reports using the internet, a figure well above the 62% average in Asia, the underlying infrastructure is outdated and vulnerable to cybersecurity breaches.
