Dr. Rene Arnold is a Public Affairs Expert with Huawei. Prior to joining Huawei, he worked at several distinguished think tanks with a research focus on digital transformation. Among other projects, Rene worked intensively on the economic and societal impact of digital transformation in various emerging economies.

Was arbeiten Absolventen der Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (JMU)? Um den Studierenden verschiedene Perspektiven vorzustellen, hat Michaela Thiel, Geschäftsführerin des zentralen Alumni-Netzwerks, ausgewählte Ehemalige befragt. Diesmal ist Alumna Kim Fabienne Hertinger an der Reihe. Sie hat an der JMU Psychologie studiert. Gleichzeitig hat sie eine Karriere als Regisseurin begonnen und mit ihrem Kurzfilm „Meer bei Nacht“ seitdem viele Preise erhalten. Erst vor Kurzem wurde sie mit dem Kulturförderpreis der Stadt Würzburg ausgezeichnet.

Every time a government passes a law that affects the Internet, tech companies must ask themselves a critical question: can they still properly provide their services while protecting user privacy under the new rules?

For companies operating in countries pursuing anti-privacy legislation, the answer is increasingly scary from both a user and corporate perspective.

Mientras algunos se preparan para recibir temperaturas más cálidas durante las próximas semanas y disfrutar tardes con mayor luz solar, otros comienzan a sufrir con el picor de ojos, nariz y garganta producido por la polinización de árboles, pastos y malezas, síntomas de alergia que pueden ser confundidos con los del COVID-19.

Jóvenes y adultos de todos los rincones del país -y también del extranjero- fueron parte de estos espacios de encuentro y diálogo sobre salud mental realizados en el marco de la pandemia. La iniciativa, impulsada por la U. de Chile, el Colegio Médico y la FECH, permitió a la comunidad universitaria y al público general compartir experiencias, conocimientos y reflexiones sobre este tema en el marco de la crisis sanitaria.

Roberto Aceituno, decano de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales, e Irma Palma, profesora de esta misma unidad académica, fueron los protagonistas del último episodio de "Los expertos responden", sección de la campaña de salud mental #Conversemos, nuestra salud mental importa, iniciativa impulsada por la Universidad de Chile, el Colegio Médico y la FECH.
