Successful Carinthian University Padel Tennis Championships
Amidst high summer temperatures and under ideal conditions, this year’s Carinthian University Championships took place at the Sportunion Klagenfurt complex in the Padel Tennis Centre Klagenfurt on Lake Wörthersee.
An exciting group stage and thrilling finals
The tournament kicked off with an intense preliminary round, played across three groups of four. The rules for progression were strict: only the top three teams from each group, plus the best runner-up, secured a place in the coveted semi-finals. After many close, hard-fought matches of a very high standard, the teams “FH Kärnten” and “2St1n” finally faced each other in the grand final. In a thrilling final, the “FH Kärnten” team came out on top and were crowned deserved champions. Third place went to the “Salzlikar!” team after a strong tournament.
