About (and Around) Ignacio Cofone’s The Privacy Fallacy. Harm and Power in the information economy
This special issue of Lex Electronica is the result of a workshop held on March 14, 2025, around The Privacy Fallacy: Harm and Power in the Information Economy, a book by former Centre de recherche en droit public researcher, now Oxford professor, Ignacio Cofone.
The five contributions offer much insight into the potential need to take a different approach to privacy legislation or, at the very least, how such legislation is interpreted and applied by the courts.
