The event “Your Master’s at the University of Klagenfurt: Master’s programmes & alumni journeys”, held on 25 November 2025, offered prospective students a comprehensive overview of the university’s Master’s programmes, support services and the diverse career paths of alumni. Current students and graduates shared personal insights into academic life, campus culture and their individual journeys at the University of Klagenfurt.
Key insights from the panel included:
- It was highlighted that Klagenfurt offers a vibrant and inclusive campus environment, shaped by international activities and the strong commitment of an engaged student union.
- Emphasis was placed on the ease of integrating into student life, supported by numerous events, cultural exchange opportunities and a welcoming community.
- The peaceful and relaxed atmosphere of Klagenfurt was noted as a key factor enabling focus, personal development and a balanced study experience.
- The panel underscored the university’s academic strengths, particularly the combination of research excellence and industry experience among the faculty.
- It was pointed out that Klagenfurt’s small, interconnected ecosystem provides excellent networking opportunities, making it easy to meet experts, collaborators and fellow students.
- Finally, the importance of pursuing a Master’s degree was stressed, as it offers essential space to experiment, specialise and deepen knowledge in preparation for future professional challenges.
