COVID-19: Safety instructions and hotline for HHU members

Based on the information available today, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) estimates the health risk in Germany to be low to moderate. However, as a preventive measure the management of HHU recommends that persons returning from a trip to China remain at home for a period of 14 days – and work from there if necessary. In any case, anyone suffering from an infectious, flu-like, disease should stay at home and refrain from coming to HHU.
HHU staff, students or academic community members who have spent some time in China since the beginning of this year can get in touch with the experts at UKD’s Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Infectious Diseases: the team surrounding the department’s head Prof. Dr. Dieter Häussinger has set up a medical advisory hotline. Under 0211-81-17031 students, employees and scientists can get information on risk minimisation and potential symptoms of COVID-19 (Mon-Fri: 08.30am-12.00pm and 02.00pm-04.00pm).
