Foto: Theresa TschaukoAs part of the Young Scientist Mentoring Programme at the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, Theresa Tschauko is currently undertaking a research stay at the University of Amsterdam. She is hosted by the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences within the Programme Group Work and Organizational Psychology.

During her stay, she is working closely with Dr. Alexandra Sasha Cook. Together, they are advancing their ongoing collaborative research project.
In her doctoral research, Theresa Tschauko focuses on women’s health and attendance behavior in the workplace. Their joint project examines how menstrual pain is addressed in professional contexts, the role of disclosure to supervisors and colleagues, and how these factors are related to presenteeism.
In addition to developing the project further, Theresa Tschauko presented her research at a Research Meeting of the Programme Group Work and Organizational Psychology. The presentation provided an opportunity to receive valuable feedback from international colleagues and to integrate new perspectives into the ongoing development of the project.
The research stay fosters international academic exchange, strengthens collaboration, and contributes to the methodological and theoretical advancement of the project.
