Mit dem Ludwig-Biermann-Förderpreis ehrt die Astronomische Gesellschaft jedes Jahr herausragende Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen und Nachwuchswissenschaftler. Der Preis ist mit 3.000 Euro dotiert und geht für 2022 an Dr. Thomas Siegert vom Lehrstuhl für Astronomie der Julius-Maximilians-Universität (JMU) Würzburg.
Der junge Wissenschaftler bekommt die Auszeichnung im September auf der Tagung der Astronomischen Gesellschaft in Bremen verliehen. Er wurde auch eingeladen, dort einen Vortrag über seine Arbeit zu halten.

Damit die Lymphknoten über Infektionen im Körper informiert werden, sind sie über Lymphgefäße mit den einzelnen Organen verbunden. Von dort transportieren die Lymphgefäße Flüssigkeit, aber auch spezielle Immunzellen in die Lymphknoten. Diese Immunzellen heißen dendritische Zellen; sie tragen Informationen aus den Organen in die Lymphknoten und geben sie dort an andere Immunzellen weiter.
