Segunda Conferência UE-Brasil sobre Economia Digital e Inovação: Conectividade e Novas Infraestruturas Digitais10h00 até 12h00O Evento: This event is under the auspices of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU. 
At the time of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU, this online event aims at identifying areas for stakeholder cooperation between the EU and Brazil regarding connectivity, digital trade, and research and development of emerging technologies. Participants will explore key issues such as newly inaugurated EllaLink optical submarine cable, the challenges and opportunities of Internet access, 5G technologies, the Internet of Things and its applications, and new connectivity models. The agenda of this webinar has been crafted based on the outcomes of the First EU-Brazil Conference on Digital Economy and Innovation, held in March 2021, aimed at tackling digital cooperation between EU and Brazil, and promoting further synergy regarding digital trade, research and digital policy frameworks.
