Collaboration is a basic element for Internet development. Without it, connections among networks would be non-existent and the Internet wouldn’t have its global reach. Without it, the Internet wouldn’t exist as we know it. Fortunately, there are many groups that use collaboration and other elements of the Internet networking model.

The Wikimedia Foundation is excited to announce $2.5 million in support from Craig Newmark Philanthropies that will help to ensure the security of Wikipedia, as well as the organization’s other sites and global community of volunteers.

"Experiencia Chilena de políticas de Financiamiento a la Educación Superior", fue el nombre del encuentro que reunió a expertos y autoridades, y que dio inicio a un ciclo de seminarios convocados por la U. de Chile.

Representantes de distintos planteles se reunieron para dialogar en el Primer Encuentro de Gestión y Planificación de Infraestructura de las Universidades Estatales. La cita se desarrolló en la Casa Central de la U. de Chile, espacio donde intercambiaron experiencias y posturas sobre la incidencia de esta dimensión en el quehacer universitario.El desafío de mejorar la infraestructura de una institución de educación superior obedece no solo al espacio físico, sino a lo que ocurre dentro de este.
