In dieser Studie bewerteten 513 ExpertInnen aus Digitalisierung und Technologie im Rahmen einer Delphi-Studie verschiedene Thesen zum Einsatz von KI-Technologien und den dadurch bedingten Veränderungen in den Bereichen Leben, Arbeit und Bildung. Die Mehrheit der ExpertInnen glaubt, dass KI in vielen Lebensbereichen positive Potenziale birgt. Um diese positiven Potenziale von KI zu entfalten, seien jedoch, laut Meinung der ExpertInnen, ethische Grundprinzipen sowie interdisziplinäre und internationale Standards für den Umgang mit KI notwendig. Im Bereich Arbeit erwarten die ExpertInnen eine Zunahme der Transparenz von Arbeitsleistung und der Interaktionen mit KI-Technologien sowie sich verändernde Beschäftigungsfelder. Dementsprechend sei, aufgrund der veränderten beruflichen Anforderungen, auch eine Veränderung in der Bildungsgesellschaft zu erwarten. Lehr- und Lernmethoden sowie relevante Bildungsinhalte müssten geprüft und weiterentwickelt werden. Eine generelle Auflösung des aktuellen Bildungssystems in den nächsten zehn Jahren wird von der Mehrheit der ExpertInnen jedoch nicht erwartet.
