Cooper Flagg 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game led the Duke Blue Devils to the final four in his lonely college basketball season.

The Dallas Mavericks finally saw their luck after a hard end of the 2024-25 NBA season and won number 1 in the lottery on Monday, even though they only had a chance of 1.8%.
If the Mavericks actually select him with the top election, Flag would lead to an already charged squad that contains Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis and Klay Thompson.

Despite the likely No. 1 selection guarantee, Flagg made his way to Chicago, Illinois to perform combine in the NBA Draft. During an interview with the Bleacher report at the event, many design potentials were asked who the best player in the NBA was.
Flagg quickly chose the Denver Nuggets Center Nikola Jokic.

Jokic had the most votes for the best player in the above interview. Other prospects that Jokic selected as the best player in the NBA are Walter Clayton Jr. (Florida), Alijah Martin (Florida), Derik Queen (Maryland), Liam McNeeley (Uconn), Kon Knueppel (Duke), Vlad Goldin (Michigan) and Sion James (Duke).
Various NBA stars were also mentioned, including the Shai Gilgeous-Alexander by Thunder, James Harden, Kevin Durant, Lakers 'LeBron James and Knicks' Jalen Brunson.

Although he will probably not win his fourth MVP this year, Jokic ended the season with an average of 29.6 points, 12.7 rebounds and 10.2 assists.
