Antitrust Enforcement in E-commerce: Recent Developments in China and Brazil09h30 até 11h00O Evento: FGV Law School in Rio de Janeiro, on behalf of the E-commerce Research Group (NEEC) and the Brazil-China Research Group (NEBC), invites you to a webinar discussing the application of antitrust law to e-commerce platforms, particularly in China and Brazil. The discussion will include an analysis of the case involving Alibaba, who was recently sanctioned by the Chinese antitrust authority with a $2.8 billion fine.
The speakers will be Chen Litong, Senior Partner of the Chinese law firm Dentons; and Paula Farani da Silveira, Commissioner of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE, the Brazilian antitrust authority). The event will be moderated by FGV professors Evandro Carvalho and Nicolo Zingales.
