DMRC researcher wins ICA research award

The QUT Digital Media Research Centre’s Dr TJ Thomson has won a top faculty paper award from the International Communication Association’s Journalism Studies Division for a study on AI-generated images he co-authored with A/Prof. Ryan Thomas at Washington State University in the USA.
Peer reviewers called the pair’s study “imaginative, relevant, [and] deeply meaningful.”
