European consortium secures grant to organise the European Festival of Journalism and Media Literacy

[Florence, 2 October 2023] – A consortium of seven European organisations, coordinated by the Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom, is proud to announce that it has been awarded a substantial grant from the European Commission to organise the European Festival of Journalism and Media Literacy.

The festival marks a significant departure from previous initiatives in the field, promising to bring fresh perspectives and insights to the forefront of media discourse. The inaugural edition will take place in Florence in March 2024.

Access to public-sector information remains challenging in many European countries

She argues that governments must go beyond the status quo to reap the benefits of their own access to information policies.

Die Erkundung hat eine Reihe von Lagerräumen zutage gefördert, die zuvor noch nicht dokumentiert worden waren. Diese Entdeckung wirft ein neues Licht auf die Architektur der Pyramide Sahuras, des zweiten Königs der Fünften Dynastie (2400 v. Chr.) und des ersten Königs, der in Abusir bestattet wurde.
