The 37th Nordic Conference on Law and Information Technology runs under the theme of “Humans, data and law: tectonic plates in motion“.

Over recent times, the European regulatory landscape has experienced several quakes with proposals such as the Digital Services Act, Digital Market Act, Data Governance Act, Data Act, Artificial Intelligence Act as well as other soft-law initiatives, attempting to adjust to the fast-paced developments in our digital society.

Die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft und die Informationsplattform „Tierversuche verstehen“, die von der Allianz der Wissenschaftsorganisationen getragen wird, haben eine Informationskampagne gestartet. Darin erklären Forschungseinrichtungen mit lebenswissenschaftlicher Ausrichtung, transparent über Tierversuche zu informieren, den öffentlichen Dialog über tierexperimentelle Forschung mitzugestalten sowie untereinander Erfahrungen auszutauschen.

The Media Pluralism Monitor consolidates its position as a key source of information for the EU policies on media pluralism and media freedom. 

The third annual Rule of Law Report, which was adopted today by the European Commission, defines the Media Pluralism Monitor as “an important source for the Commission’s Rule of Law Reports”. The MPM has been a source of data for the Commission’s report since its first edition in 2020.
