World Trade Institute (WTI), University of Bern

The World Trade Institute (WTI) was established in 1999 and conducts advanced studies in international trade at the University of Bern in beautiful Switzerland. The WTI combines graduate-level education, interdisciplinary research and specialized advisory services in a unique and dynamic institution.  Research is conducted in close collaboration with NCCR Trade Regulation, which is a center of excellence for interdisciplinary research of global trade governance. Our main objective is to push the boundaries of teaching and research in the law, economics and politics of international trade and advance apt solutions for contemporary regulatory challenges. Internet governance issues have been an essential part of this project.
