Continuing our Get to Know the Team series, we are delighted to introduce Ms Thando Ndita, our Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) Manager.
Thando is a human rights researcher affiliated with a Hague-based organisation, where her work focuses on bringing attention to human rights issues that often do not make it into mainstream media or policy conversations. Her research has explored areas such as caste-based discrimination, democratic governance, political repression, and access to justice, all grounded in a strong commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices.
We were delighted to welcome visiting colleagues Carola-Bibiane Schönlieb (University of Cambridge), Andreas Hauptmann (University of Oulu), and Ozan Öktem (KTH Royal Institute of Technology) to our institute for two weeks during the summer semester of 2026.
During their visit, they worked on a book project on data-driven methods for inverse problems. We were pleased to host them and look forward to seeing the results of their collaboration in this exciting and rapidly evolving field.
