The students of the course ‘The Future of Artificial Intelligence: Visions in Science Fiction, Politics and Society’ (Master’s programme ‘Science, Technology and Society’) cordially invite you to a film evening on 9 December 2025, 6 p.m. in HS 3. The movie ‘Moon’ (2009, English OV with subtitles) will be shown. After the film, there will be a discussion organised by the students on social visions of artificial intelligence. No registration required; all interested parties are very welcome.

A few weeks ago, I came across a metaphor from one of my favorite authors, Brené Brown, that has stayed with me. She describes trust-building in human relationships as filling a marble jar: every trustworthy action we do for each other—keeping a promise, remembering personal details, showing up when it matters—is like adding a marble to the jar. 

En un nuevo hito para la ciberseguridad en Chile, el miércoles 26 de noviembre se llevó a cabo el 2º Ejercicio Nacional de Gestión de Crisis para la Defensa de Infraestructuras Críticas, Escudo Minerva, en la Academia de Guerra del Ejército de Chile.
