Saturday, November 18, 2017, the Faculty of Communication Arts organized an eco-trip to Klong Kone, Samut Songkhram for over 40 exchange students from Macromedia University, Germany, and ASEAN countries.
During the back-to-nature program, students were taken by boat to explore Thai Gulf coastal life, including fishing communities and the local monkey population that came out to play. Another fun activity was to get down into the knee-high mud and plant seedlings in the mangrove forest as part of an ecosystem conservation project. The group also visited King Rama II Memorial Park.
Before heading back to Bangkok, the group stopped at Amphawa, one of Thailand’s most famous floating markets, where they could shop for a variety of lip-smacking Thai food, tropical fruits and vegetables as well as handicrafts along the canal.
