Science fiction film evening with discussion: Tuesday, 9 December, 6 p.m. – ‘Moon’ (HS 3)

The students of the course ‘The Future of Artificial Intelligence: Visions in Science Fiction, Politics and Society’ (Master’s programme ‘Science, Technology and Society’) cordially invite you to a film evening on 9 December 2025, 6 p.m. in HS 3. The movie ‘Moon’ (2009, English OV with subtitles) will be shown. After the film, there will be a discussion organised by the students on social visions of artificial intelligence. No registration required; all interested parties are very welcome.

A few weeks ago, I came across a metaphor from one of my favorite authors, Brené Brown, that has stayed with me. She describes trust-building in human relationships as filling a marble jar: every trustworthy action we do for each other—keeping a promise, remembering personal details, showing up when it matters—is like adding a marble to the jar.

Darin stellen sie erstmals Zusammenhänge zwischen politischen Maßnahmen und spezifischen Marktversagen für saubere Energiegüter her. Sie fordern: Deutschland sollte sich bei sauberen Energiegütern nicht zu abhängig von Ländern machen, deren Marktanteile in diesem Bereich wachsen – allen voran China.
