Mit dem Zertifikatsprogramm „Machtmissbrauch erkennen und verhindern (MEV)“ bieten die Julius-Maximilians-Universität und das Universitätsklinikum Würzburg (UKW) jetzt ein neues Angebot an, das die Grundlagen im Umgang mit Macht, Grenzüberschreitung und Prävention vermittelt.
Das Wetterstein Millimeter Teleskop (WMT) soll unter anderem Bilder von Schwarzen Löchern machen, die Entstehung erdähnlicher Planeten um andere Sterne untersuchen, aber auch Weltraumschrott im Erdorbit kartieren und die kritische geodätische Infrastruktur zur Überwachung des Erdklimas unterstützen.
Aus diesem Anlass trafen sich am 23. und 24. Juni 2025 rund 60 internationale Teilnehmende aus verschiedensten Bereichen der Wissenschaft und Technik für einen Workshop in der Forschungsstation Schneefernerhaus auf der Zugspitze.
Warum ist generative KI heutzutage unverzichtbar geworden?
Insbesondere das Generieren von Texten und die Extraktion von Informationen aus großen heterogenen Datenbeständen werden zunehmend in Unternehmen, aber auch von Schülerinnen und Schülern und Studierenden genutzt. Von einem Effizienzgewinn wird beispielsweise im Marketing berichtet oder auch bei einfachen Programmieraufgaben, wie dem Erstellen von Überblicksgrafiken für die Absatzzahlen eines Unternehmens.
Drei Tage voller inspirierender Gespräche, kluger Köpfe und digitaler Denkanstöße: In Vorträgen und Paneldiskussionen brachten Forschende des bidt wichtige Themen auf die Bühne der größten Digitalmesse Europas: Desinformation, digitale Generationssilos, toxische Unterhaltung, KI im Klassenzimmer und die Frage nach Authentizität in der Politik. Unter dem Motto „Generation XYZ“ wurde hinterfragt, diskutiert und Wissen geteilt – wissenschaftlich fundiert, praxisnah und pointiert.
