Setting the Agenda for Interdisciplinarity in Responsible Data Science

How can we create an agenda for value propositions and practical guides for interdisciplinary and responsible data science?

In this last session of our 2022 ongoing series about the Value of Interdisciplinarity for Responsible Data Science, co-hosts Gina Neff and Annette Markham wrap up the year by discussing key emerging themes from the series.

Each of our six seminars has focused on a different subtopic, but all have built on the core premise that today’s “big issues” demand more attention to interdisciplinarity and that everyone benefits when research ecosystems integrate multiple perspectives, even when this is challenging and time consuming.

This series is co-sponsored by the Digital Ethnography Research Centre, RMIT University and the University of Cambridge’s Minderoo Centre for Technology and Democracy.
