Mexico’s Congressional Science, Technology and Innovation Commission hosts “Presentation of Global Indices”

“How can economies become future ready and benefit from the opportunities presented by new technologies?“
On December 8, the Science, Technology and Innovation Commission of the Federal Congress of Mexico hosted a “Presentation of Global Indices”, which showcased the Network Readiness Index (NRI), the Global Innovation Index (GII), and Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI).
Rafael Escalona Reynoso (CEO, Portulans Institute), Soumitra Dutta (President, Portulans Institute), and Bruno Lanvin (Director, Portulans Institute) presented the indices, which together measure three critical dimensions of future readiness by assessing the combination of technology competitiveness, innovation readiness and people and talent.
Thank you to the Science, Technology and Innovation Commission of the Federal Congress of Mexico and Javier López Casarín, Federal Congressman and Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation for hosting this event, and providing a platform for the discussion of these important topics.
