TASCHA - Technology and Social Change Group

The Technology & Social Change Group (TASCHA) at the University of Washington Information School explores the role of digital technologies in building more open, inclusive, and equitable societies. TASCHA is a multidisciplinary, applied research center that works with people and places that face social, economic, and political barriers. Our research advances knowledge and creates public resources for improving policy and practice. In particular, we co-create research programs with organizations and partners committed to achieving positive social change. Our work has helped international organizations, governments, foundations, civil society organizations, and public libraries in the United States and more than 50 countries.
